Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA) was founded on Oct. 5th, 2007. TMBA is consisted of more than 800 members of machine tools, accessory, components, and tools companies. The supply chain with intimate cooperative relationship leads Taiwan machine tool industry to own excellent competitiveness on quality and price in the international market. Up to 90% of Taiwan machine tool and accessory industry is located in the central of Taiwan, especially at Taichung, the best cluster of machine tool industry in the world. The main mission of TMBA is to integrate the opinion of Taiwan machine tool & accessory, and establish industry development strategy with government to assist in promoting industrial upgrade, which will have Taiwan machine tool & accessory industry continually pursue innovation and R&D to produce high quality machine tools. Furthermore, TMBA is committed to exchange with advanced countries to link up with the world. Germany Pavilion
At METALTECH and AUTOMEX, it is all about digitisation. The term “Industry 4.0” was first coined in 2011 from a project in the high-tech strategy of the Germany government, which promotes the digitisation of manufacturing. The progress has since, set the tone for the rest of the world. Over the past few decades, many German companies has developed into a world leader in mechanical and electrical engineering. By successfully adding another ingredient, information technology, it aspires to lead the next industrial revolution, the Industry 4.0.
Many major German corporations are developing customised technologies for digitisation – in manufacturing, aviation, logistics and software development. Mechanical engineers too, are refining ever-more intelligent machines. The Germany Pavilion will showcase all the new advances and breakthroughs at the event including digital twins, collaboration between humans and robots and intelligent factories, among others.
